RECENT PROJECTS:

 

5.5M DORY SPORT

This traditional Dory with seating for up to 6 has a centre steering console, sun shade and a 130 litre cool box. The model shown was built 3 months ago for our charter operation and is currently powered by a 50hp engine. Her chine design keeps her dry, reduces pounding and allows her to bank in turns. The cockpit sole is above the DWL and the boat is self-bailing. The very buoyant bow provides safety in a following sea. Stable and very dry, she feels like a much larger boat. The design can be customized to allow for optimum operation in a variety of circumstances, from a bench seat with tiller control, to a sports-fisher style layout.

1) The HAMMERHEAD - 65

The 'Hammerhead - 65' from the designers at East Cape Marine is a 6.5m planing catamaran.

We have assessed that this design, combined with our construction methods, will make for a very good all-round vessel, especially suitable for fishing, dive trips, or as a family runaround. Having plenty of room, but also being of an easy to handle size, the 'Hammerhead - 65' can provide a safe and smooth ride, as well as being economical in operation.

We will be offering three basic versions of this model in sports, sports-fisher and dive-centric configurations.

2) HM-14 MINISAIL

This design is similar to the famous 'Sunfish'. With the focus on ease of use and practicability, the HM-14 MINISAIL, with a vee-hull and a typical lateen rig, sets up in minutes, is easy and fun to sail, whilst still giving satisfaction to those people with more experience. Thanks also to their low-maintenance and ease of storing, these boats make an excellent addition to any beach resort/watersports operation.
